Your brand, our packing line

We already pack under our own label — Aja Kinch, Hasharo and gesho all leave here in Global Supermarket livery. The same line runs your brand, to a label that clears Canadian requirements.

What we already run

Private label is not a new service we are advertising into. Three of our own lines are packed and labelled here: bulk intake is checked in, repacked into sealed retail units, and labelled with product name, weight, barcode and best-before at the point of packing.

Own label, live
Aja Kinch
1 kg cracked grain, barcoded, best-before applied at packing.
Own label, live
Hasharo Seed
1 kg whole seed under the same livery.
Own label, live
Gesho
1 kg powder and 250 g stick, both own-labelled.

Lines available for private label

Anything we pack as a powder, flour or dry grain can carry your label. Ceremony ware and tableware are bought finished, so those carry the maker's mark rather than ours or yours.

  • Spices & blends — berbere, mekelesha, senafich
  • Flours & powders — shiro, hilbet, bula, abish (both grades), beso, aja
  • Grains & seeds — aja kinch, hasharo
  • Gesho — powder, stick and leaf
  • Incense — etan and karfa, repacked to your weight

Pack formats

  • Retail: 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg sealed units — the standard is 1 kg
  • Food service: 5 kg and 10 kg
  • Bulk: 25 kg sacks for repackers
Canadian labels are where importers get caught. A consumer pack sold in Canada needs English and French, a Nutrition Facts table, the full ingredient list, an allergen declaration and country of origin. We check artwork against this before production — not after a pallet has been printed.

How it runs

  • Brief — lines, formats, volumes and the market they are going to.
  • Specification — we return pack specs, net weights and the label content you must carry.
  • Artwork — you supply print-ready files; we check them against Canadian requirements.
  • Proof — a physical labelled unit for sign-off before the run.
  • Production — packed, coded and palletised to the configuration on your quotation.

What we need from you

  • Lines and annual volume estimate, so we can price the run properly
  • Destination market — it decides the labelling rules
  • Your GS1 barcode prefix, if you have one
  • Print-ready artwork, or a brief if you want us to point you at a designer
