Plan the container before you book it

Enter case quantities and this works out pallets, how many boxes you need, and — the part that catches people out — whether you run out of space or out of payload first.

Why this matters. A container is constrained by two ceilings at once — pallet spaces and payload weight — and whichever you hit first is what you actually pay for. This works out both, so you can see the spare capacity before you book rather than after.

Case weights here are the template figures held against each line. Once your real packed weights are entered, the payload column becomes the number to plan against.
