What we collect
When you submit a quotation request or account application we collect the information you give us: company name, contact name and role, email address, telephone number, destination country and port, business or importer registration number, and the details of your enquiry.
The quote basket on this site is stored in your own browser and is not transmitted to us until you submit a request.
Why we collect it
To prepare and send quotations, to fulfil and ship orders, to meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed food business, and to respond to your enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to perform the trade: customs brokers, freight forwarders and carriers handling your consignment, and government authorities where law requires. Shipping and customs documents by their nature name the parties to a transaction.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained while a commercial relationship is live and for the period required by Canadian tax, customs and food-traceability rules thereafter. Traceability records are kept for the period the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations require.
Where it is held
This site is hosted on infrastructure that may process data outside Canada. Where that is the case, the information is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent to further contact. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires.
